Bar Service Qualifications

Demonstrated Commitment to the ISBA and the Illinois Legal Community

Attorney Rory T. Weiler has been a member of the ISBA Board of Governors since 2015. He serves on the Standing Committee on Budget and Audit, and he is a member of the Family Law Section Council (since 2001, chair 2010-2011) and is the current co-editor of the Section's monthly newsletter. He has been a member of the ISBA Legislation Committee since 2012. He is a Diamond Fellow of the Illinois Bar Foundation and a current member of its Board of Directors.

Rory has lectured at and participated in many seminars sponsored by the ISBA and other organizations on many family law topics, and he has authored numerous articles on family law topics. He has been active in advancing the provision of legal services to the indigent, and in 2005 was awarded the ISBA's John C. McAndrews Pro Bono Service Award.
